Full circle, a Ducati story

In 1974 i bought a new Ducati 750 GT in Portland Oregon. I put a quick 30,000 miles on it, I even rode it to Evil Knievel's infamous Snake River jump. I traded it for a BMW and didn't get back into Ducati's for 35 years. I rediscovered Ducati when I came across a nice 2010 Monster 1100S for a good price a few months ago. At the time I had a BMW 1200GS and a Yamaha WR250R, both great bikes but I wanted something more sporty but still comfortable. Ducati has come along way since I bought that 750 GT. It has such great power and handling. I'm very old now but the first ride I took it on was 350 miles and I was comfortable, I could have done 500 miles. This is also the best looking bike I've ever had, it's red and always draws attention.
